Spotted Online – Mathias Bax’s Resin DIY Ham-ster

German architect Mathias Bax e-mailed me to direct me at his new resin toy, Ham-ster, which was featured at Tomopop. Very cute, this 3-inch resin toy is a steal at $10 . . . but the shipping from Germany is gonna cost you so if you place an order I recommend buying three or four.

Mathias sent along a short note with his e-mail:

“Its a resin cast which comes in two styles. One with and one without movable arms for i´ve got a one year old boy and i wanted to avoid the he swallowed the arms. So, its a good toy either for little kids.”

Nice! I may have to order a couple of these for myself (maybe one of each style). Anyone in the Austin area interested in these and want to share an order so that we can save on shipping?
