News – New Exclusives Go Live at Matty Collector Today
Matty Collector, Mattel’s online store for toy collectors, is launching new toys today at noon eastern.
Gotham Criminals 4-Pack features four Justice League Unlimited figures — Bane, Scarecrow, Clock King, and Harley Quinn. At $30 the price is a little high — in comparison to the single-figure prices at Target — but it’s not terrible for an exclusive. I’m still not sure if I want these or not.
Stratos, the latest in the Masters of the Universe Classics line, also goes on sale today. After the speed with which the last releases in the line sold, especially Skeletor, I need to decide before noon whether or not I want Stratos. I think I do, because the last two figures I picked up were so neat, but I’m still a bit torn. Stratos looks pretty good but he’s not a character that I absolutely have to own.
I love the Scarecrow, but Clock King is looking a bit too beefy for my taste. I also would have preferred the Clock King from Batman: The Animated Series but the line is called Justice League Unlimited after all.
