Spotted Online – SD Glyos and Founders

As the line grows we see more Glyos (Onell Design) photos and reviews popping up online. Like these latest posts at N13 and Dork Dimension.

The Founders are cool, but even with the $4 price tag I don’t recommend starting a Glyos collection with these toys. The plastic is just a little too hard, which means that building designs out of the parts is really tough on the hands.

You know, maybe I should sit down and work out a blog post on how to get into the Glyos toy line. There’s a lot to know, and pieces like these Founders and the recent Custom Corps (mentioned here) are not the places to start with the series. Any interest in my own thoughts on where to start — and where to go — with a Glyos toy collection?

  1. The best place to start would be in the release coming in March, which will again feature basic figures! But you already knew that…

In all seriousness, it is probably time for a post on the history of Glyos on one of our sites, laying out the information about the characters and explaining some of the confusion that people might have when jumping in to the line. I was just looking at one you have probably seen over on Robot Loves Monster about Mutant Chaos.

  2. I’m all for Matt laying down something a bit more definative about the Glyos universe. I like a bit of ambiguity, but folks really want to know more.

  3. Im all about a written guide to glyos since you finally got me hooked on them. I think that may also bring in more to the Glyos universe.
