Red Steregon Exclusive at Max Toy – Gone.
I’ve never ordered from Max Toy, but if the Red Steregon toy shown over at Toy Karma is ever available to the general public (the site says he is sold out) when I’ve got the cash then I’ll be placing my first order with the company. Ever since I first posted about NerdOne’s Steregon toy (mentioned here) I’ve been thinking about this guy, and a red version of the toy would be a fantastic addition to my collection.
A fun, crazy monster design, Steregon is one of the few Japanese vinyl toys that looks neat enough — especially in red — that I could be persuaded to grab one. I love the look of his two heads and belly mouth . . . and the artwork shown over at Toy Karma pushes this over that illusionary “buy now” line.

So who do I need to blame for making me want this toy? Because it looks fantastic. Would it be safer if I just turned off the internet and never looked again? I probably won’t ever get one since I don’t belong to the Max Toy Club and the toy sold out last week when it was released.

The unpainted red Sterogon went to the Max Toy Club first, and then any that were left went up for public sale, sorry. Don’t fret though… if they were casting in red, then there should be a red painted release imminent. It probably won’t be available from MTC tho, as it’s not really they’re toy.
