Marvel Universe Size Comparison to Other 3.75-inch Figures
In the comments section to my review of the Stealth Ops Iron Man, De asked:
“So how well do these fit in when mingled with your Star Wars and G.I. Joe figures?”
Well, the following photo shows the Marvel Universe Hulk and Green Goblin next to older Star Wars action figures, a newer G.I. Joe figure, an Indiana Jones figure, and a DC Universe Infinite Heroes action figure.
As you can see, the figures aren’t perfectly in scale with each other but they’re actually pretty close. Close enough, in fact, that you could probably easily toss Captain America and Hellboy into a pitched battle with a bunch of Nazis. I really love 3.75-inch figures; I just wish these new Marvel Universe figures were either priced a little lower or came with more extras. (Except for the Hulk; he’s a giant chunk of plastic and weighs a lot.)
For a size comparison shot of several Marvel Universe 3.75-inch action figures, and thoughts on their sizes, take a look at this post at www.articulateddiscussion.com.
Coolness.
I’m fine with a slight discrepancy in height though, it gives the impression that not everyone is the same 6 feet tall, 180 lb specimen of ubermensch perfection. Though some characters COULD stand to be a bit taller or shorter, but I’m fine with it.

Yeah, as I said over at http://www.articulateddiscussion.com it’s noticeable and a little annoying but — in the end — it’s really not a deal killer.
Those all look pretty good together though the Hulk could stand to be a bit taller. If the Marvel figures ever hit the $5-6 price point, I am there.
Managed to snag an Indiana Jones Cargo Truck from Big Lots for $10 a couple of weeks ago. As soon as the toy area is a bit more organized, I plan to have it crawling with Cobras.

Indy: Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?
Touché, updatedude. Touché.
