Batman: Under the Red Hood was Fun
So as I already mentioned (mentioned here), Gina and I recently watched Batman: Under the Red Hood*, the latest animated feature from DC. The main feature was way better than the Jonah Hex short, and in general I enjoyed the Batman film. The animation was great, but I almost hated the voice acting. Why? Because I wasn’t happy with The Joker or Batman voices. Why did DC think they needed to change voice actors for this film?
I did like the way they tweaked the storyline to make it self-contained — and require just a short film in place of a major series — but the voice acting irritated me more than it should have. I happily recommend the film, but it’s more of a rental than a buy.
