The Optimus Prime I Wanted to Like

Powermaster Optimus Prime was one of those concepts back during the Transformers Generation One run that I wanted to like. I remember reading the Marvel comic when Optimus died . . . and then the comic when they brought him back as a Powermaster. Unfortunately, the Powermaster idea never quite worked and by the end of the original comic run Prime and his Nebulon partner were merged into a single Optimus Prime.

Well, it’s obvious there are people out there who loved the concept because we’re getting a Powermaster Optimus Prime Bust* and it’s coming sooner than you may think.
