IDW’s Strange Science Fantasy
I totally missed the release of IDW’s first issue in this Strange Science Fantasy comic series (written and illustrated by Scott Morse), but now that I’ve spotted the second issue I can’t help but think I should go out and grab the first two issues.
The idea of insane one-shot stories interests me, and the sample art looks fantastic. I especially love this cover.
Written and illustrated by award-winning cartoonist Scott Morse, this all-new series explores “pop-culture as religion,†where we find a society in which pulp fiction is elevated to the highest level of respect by a culture-bare world searching for hope in the only place available to them: the “modern myth” Each issue features a tale grounded only by bizarre landscapes and “off the wall†characters. This issue… enter the iron-clad feudal space warrior: THE SHOGUNAUT!
