Every single time that I spot this Transformers Unicron statue* online I start drooling. Even before I started to dabble in statues and busts the sight of this beauty had me thinking that it would be nice to add to my collection, and now that I’ve fully admitted to becoming a statue collector it looks cooler than ever. But even on sale — $150 — it’s more than I’m ready to pay for any statue. But just look at it! Fantastic piece of art.

Hey kids, it’s the Orson Welles robot! Nothing is more terrifying to a planet than the arrival of the insidious Unicron – devourer of worlds! This industrial-sized Transformer is beyond “more than meets the eye,” and was voiced by the legendary director of Citizen Kane. Standing 8 1/2-inches tall and limited to 1,986 pieces, this statue also features the characters of Rodimus Prime, Daniel Witwicky, and Arcee surrounded by a group of Quintessons on the base. Each statue features a hand-numbered base with matching box and certificate of authenticity!
