Do You Remember Zombie Dice?

One of my big projects over the past year was the Zombie Dice game. From the first playtest to the first public demo I was there every step of the way, and this week I got to be right in the middle of the excitement of rushing the game in for a reprint. In a single 24-hour window we blew through the last 8,000 or so copies of the game in our Atlanta warehouse and now I’m scrambling to get more in before Christmas.

It’s not often that I post about office projects here, but I’ve gotta say that it has been a hell of a lot of fun to watch Zombie Dice take off. We sold through most of our first print run in about five months, and that was a run about six times larger than we do for most new games. We were sure we had a great game, but it’s really rewarding when the market agrees.

Anyway, this isn’t a game blog so I’ll let you guys alone now. But I’ll close by saying that if you wanna try the game you can grab it from your local game store, the official website, or over at Amazon.com*. I’m hoping the retailers have enough copies to last until the reprint comes in, but we can’t be sure of that.

I’m working on getting the reprint in as fast as possible.
