More Di Fate Creature Work

So I showed you the one Di Fate Creature from the Black Lagoon original that’s here at the show (terrible photo here), but I figured I should also point you guys at Di Fate’s website where you can see more of his work, including more Creature from the Black Lagoon artwork.

Fantastic work. And if you want to get a close look at his classic sci-fi artwork you can always take a peek at The Science Fiction Art of Vincent Di Fate*. I’ve got a copy of this at home and it’s packed with paintings and B&W work.

And I did buy a Di Fate original here at the show. This cover (technically, the color cover sketch) to the March 2008 Fantasy and Science Fiction magazine. The price was right, and it’s a great piece that I now need to manage to get home in one piece so that it can be framed and displayed. And yeah, the sketch is without all of the words. It’s just the beautiful artwork.
