A Painted Mini Kaiju Eyezon

While I was home last week I painted up a Mini Kaiju Eyezon (review here). This tiny vinyl toy by Max Toy Co (website, Twitter) was just begging for paint, so after many layers and hours I finally gave him list last seal of gloss coat and he’s now finished.

In the end I’m not completely satisfied with this work. My original idea was to sculpt some new bits over the toy, but I figured it would be safer to just paint and not possibly damage the toy with new parts. Well, now I think that decision was wrong. Fortunately I still have a pink Mini Kaiju Eyezon left, so one day I’ll get around to attempting the “add new parts and then paint” idea. For now, though, I’m posting these pics for those of you who had asked about the toy’s progress.
