Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

Gina and I were at the outlet mall this afternoon and after poking around the Sony store, and then a drive home and a little research followed by a return to the store, I ended up grabbing myself the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Entertainment Pack*. The system is charging and I’ve played through the tutorial, and so far I’m impressed with the graphics and the system feels decent in-hand.

This should be an excellent diversion when I find myself on trips. Plus, I snagged a copy of Metal Gear Acid* for just $6 so I should be entertained for many hours to come. The trick is gonna be not finding myself lost in an involved game; I’ve got too much work and too many projects to get completely immersed in something new.

I know what I’ll be doing while I ride to Dallas on Tuesday. Back seat alone? No problem.
