Spotted Online – Masters of the Universe Classics Weapons Rack Review
Coming to the Matty Collector website on April 15th is the Masters of the Universe Classics Weapons Rack, a recreation of a classic toy (see the Castle Grayskull entry at he-man.org) and what’s looking like a toy I’ll have to try to score when April 15th rolls around. But until that day we can enjoy this review at The Fwoosh; those lucky guys really have an “in” with Mattel because they always have stuff early.
After reading the review I hopped over to Matty Collector website to see what was going on and was shocked to find that three different Masters of the Universe Classics reissues are still available:
- Keldor – I missed out on this guy so now I’ve ordered one. Man, I am really shocked that he’s still available.
- Tytus – I can’t say I’m surprised that Tytus is still up there. $40 and not exactly the most-loved release in the line last year, I skipped this guy yet again.
- Castle Grayskull Diorama and Stands – While nowhere near as cool as the Mayan Triarama (reviewed yesterday) there was no chance in hell I was gonna miss the chance to grab this one. Should make a nice addition to the Masters of the Universe shelf in the living room.
It’s kinda amazing to see these still on the site, and it was actually very nice to be able to place an order without watching my screen stare back at me all red and dead. If only the Weapons Rack experience in April would be just as painless then I would cheer and say that Mattel has their site working well. I guess we’ll see what happens.
