Spotted Online – RAS 2010 Dust Review at ToysREvil

Absolutely gorgeous! Dust (website) makes great-looking toys, and now we can all get a closer look at one of them in this review at ToysREvil. Seeing pictures of this design online makes me really want one, but Andy’s review — and tons of great shots — really makes me itch to click that “buy” button. The only thing stopping me right now is the number of times I’ve already clicked “buy” for various toys over the past month or so.

The figures are made of polyurethane (“like the stuff they use for skateboard wheels”, said Sjors) and are individually hand-painted by dust.teh main RAS figure is articulated at the shoulders, and the sculpts reacts with the movement by providing a frozen moment, in this case a cheeky / friendly “hello / salute”. Standing 7cm tall, the main figure is indeed a delight and impressive to hold. The “Personal Medic” itself, while provides a pedestrian foil to the figure, is non-articulated.
