Off to Atlanta
Time for another trip, but this time it’s a pretty quick one since I’ll be back home on Friday. I’ll be in Atlanta tonight for the GTS Come and Play Day on Thursday. Tomorrow’s a day of meetings with our fulfillment partner and tonight’s likely going to be a “stare at the ceiling” night since I won’t get to the hotel until late.
It looks like my hotel is near a shopping center so with any luck there will be a Wal-Mart and/or Target very close by so that over the next few days I can search for toys in another city. Kup, Scourge, and others continue to avoid me here in Austin so maybe Atlanta will work out well for finding  Transformers.
I live in what’s termed ‘Metro Atlanta’ – which is the area surrounding the city itself – and although we sometimes find some cool stuff, we don’t always get it first.
You might also want to check out a few discount stores like Marshall’s, TJ Maxx and Ross: Dress for Less – they tend to often yield some great bargains and even unreleased toys like the cancelled Target-exclusive GI Joe Deluxe Figures and even Bravo-class Joe vehicles like the Vamp and HISS Tank, plus the occasional Transformer, Star Wars vehicles and more.
