Friday the 13th on Friday the 13th

A few years ago a friend of mine, Christopher Shy (website), was in Austin to work on the most recent Friday the 13th* movie. He was one of the artists on the film, and during the filming we got to hang out several times . . . which was really nice, since these days he lives in Wisconsin and we rarely see each other.

Well, on this Friday the 13th I thought it would be fun to direct you guys at Christopher’s Friday the 13th section of his website. Over there you can see artwork, behind the scenes shots and thoughts, and desktops and wallpapers.

We had a good time (the BBQ out at the cabin was a blast), and hopefully Christopher will get time in Austin again on another set so that we can waste time with movies, food, and toy shopping. (The night the art crew came over for dinner and movies was especially fun, even if we ended up watching horrible horror films from the seventies.)
