Spotted Online – Bowen Designs’ “Punk” Storm WIP

Go now to this thread at Statue Marvels and follow along as the eighties X-Men Storm — the “punk” version as she’s commonly called — moves from concept to the beginnings of a very nice statue.

This latest statue by Bowen Designs (official website, at Sideshow Collectibles*) isn’t one that I’ll be going after — I’ve just never been a big enough X-Men fan to start snagging high-end statues of the characters — but it’s fun to see that era of comics get some more attention. And the comments in the thread show that most of the fans are quite happy with this translation of the comic to statue form.
