Spotted Online – Batman Legacy Packaging

I haven’t exactly been a supporter of the DC Universe Classics* series from Mattel, even going so far last year to post about complaints with the line.

But as much as I have a hate/hate/love/hate relationship with the series I’m seriously considering nabbing every single release in the upcoming Batman Legacy (first mentioned here) subline. And now I’m one step closer to saying “yes” to Batman Legacy after spotting these packaging pics at The Fwoosh.

Visit The Fwoosh!

Where I’m torn is deciding whether or not to wait and search for the toys in stores or just jump right in and order the set from Entertainment Earth* I guess I better decide quick, because it looks like Entertainment Earth actually has these in-stock . . . and I bet they won’t last long.

Update: I broke down and ordered the set. We’ll see how these look when they arrive.

  1. Wow, thanks Phil, these are the most articulated Batman figures I’ve ever seen.

  2. @Pete – These are basically older figures repackaged/recolored, but they do look like fun. I hope my order comes in before I leave town so that I can snap some quick pics to post.

  3. @Jason – I agree. I’ve been not especially thrilled with how Mattel does a lot of things, but the packaging on this series pushed me over the edge. It looks like they really jumped into this one and are serious about making it a very neat line.
