Spotted Online – Transformers Generations Scourge Review

As expected, and as proven by my visits to stores over the last few weeks, the new Transformers movie toys have basically killed the Transformers Generations series. A lot of the later releases in the line are neat-to-impossible to find, and even some of the earlier waves have rarely been seen here in the Austin area.

For example, the Transformers Scourge reviewed at CollectionDX is a toy that I’ve seen only once in an Austin store. How very, very sad it is to say that, because this line was a great continuation of Transformers Universe . . . which also died because of a movie.

  1. You want to know what I say to that? Screw the movie toys. I even kind of wanted that Voyager Megatron, but knowing that I would not be able to find Generations or Reveal the Shield for long I decided to spend my money on them; picking up Scourge, Warpath and Wreck-Gar.
I also got Terradive on sale recently, which is technically a ROTF toy, but in his heart he is just a great transformer.
