Toys Are Us Art Project at Kickstarter

Okay, here’s a strange one. Artist Zac Shavrick (blog) wants to make little metal people. Lots of little metal people. And he needs help to make it happen. This bizarre Kickstarter project aims to populate a mini world with metal sculptures of those who support this project. Yes, this one is definitely odd.

My plan is to make a small world, based on the (hopefully ridiculous) photos you send me, of little people all interacting with each other. That way when you step into this little world you are overcome with the strangeness of all these little characters, your are taken in by the detail, and most importantly, You are part of the project. By the time you see the completed project you will have a place in this little world, maybe you’ll be with a clique of little monsters or maybe you’ll be discussing something important with a group of humans, or maybe you’ll be at war with some ungodly beast.
