Mattel’s “Touch a Lot” Voltron Toys

So over at That Figures I got a look at this video of Mattel’s upcoming Voltron toys that feature a “one touch” transformation ability.

Uh . . . that’s a hell of a lot of touching for a “one touch” feature. My favorite moment is when the user touches the toy with the key and then uses his hands to finish transforming the legs. I’m not a Voltron fan and not too concerned about the new toys, but I’ve gotta take a moment to point at something that makes a claim and then fails to meet that claim. And in the company’s own video promoting the Voltron Subscription that ends tomorrow.
