Spotted Online – Transformers Blood the Dark Warrior Review
Unofficial Transformers producer Headrobots (website) has created an upgrade kit for the official Transformers Bludgeon* toy and it looks like despite a couple of minor issues the kit really gives Bludgeon that Generation One look.
For a close look at the kit watch this video review by Mitch Santona. That loose head looks frustrating, but I guess I’ll find out soon enough when my kit arrives.
And rather than just post this link and move on I thought I’d spend a little time to create a quick digital illustration of Bludgeon. This is based on the movieverse head that’s packed with the toy and was created using the GIMP program and a hell of a lot of clicking. Enjoy!

I think this might have been the only toy I bought from the second movie. I won Lockdown in a contest at the now-defunct articulateddiscussion, but this was the only one I bought. VERY cool figure. One of the few movie designs I use with my Classics figures.
Cool looking set, I’m with you on the loose head, though. Maybe it could be tightened with a clear rubberband or two? Nothing permanent, just to add friction. I’d love to hear your thoughts when yours comes in, sir!
