Affiliate Link – Star Wars Greedo Jumbo Vintage Kenner Action Figure
I’ve heard conflicting opinions on the jumbo Star Wars action figures by Gentle Giant (website, Twitter), but so far I don’t own any so I can’t say whether they are good or bad. But I can say that each and every one of them looks great, including this Star Wars Greedo Jumbo Vintage Kenner Action Figure* that’s now up for pre-orders at Entertainment Earth.
Does anyone out there who owns one or two of the toys in this series have an opinion or a link to a review/photos that they posted? I’m on the fence with this series and am so unsure of them that I continue to just watch the line and not jump in . . . but that’s probably a good thing.
Just like they were when you were a kid, only bigger! Gentle Giant continues its line of vintage Star Wars action figure reproductions with the release of Greedo, the Rodian bounty hunter. Digitally scanned from mint 3 3/4-inch Kenner originals and reproduced in scale to the rest of the jumbo Kenner line, nothing has been overlooked. Roto- and injection-molded and made of durable plastics, this fully articulated 12-inch tall figure includes a faithfully reproduced blaster. But that’s not all. The classic Kenner creation comes packaged on a 1978 Star Wars-inspired blister card that features original front and 20-back artwork in a re-sealable plastic outer clamshell to help protect and display!

I started with Chewbacca and Han and thought I would be able to stop. Not happening yet! These guys are fantastic in my opinion, they are spot on and take me back to primal 5 year old self pretty quickly. What bad things have you heard? The packaging is great and the scale makes them easy for display. Ben Kenobi arrived this week and I’m looking for a spot for him to hang out while he waits to fall into the Force at a later date.
@Keith – Thanks! But you know, you could have told me these sucked and saved me some pain. 😉 Now you’ve got me looking at the line again.
