Three A Production Blog Shows off Squares

Ashley Wood has a new robot design, this time a series of little 4.5-inch robots that are sold in 3-packs and 10-packs. The 3A blog has many photos.

So far I own exactly one of the Ashley Wood robot toys and, unfortunately, it’s a beautiful work of art but a terrible toy. There will be a review, but my basic reaction to the piece went like:

1. Ordered toy, telling myself I would buy only one of these.
   
2. Waited almost four months for toy. When it arrived, after opening the box, I wanted more. Amazing.
   
3. Picked up toy while it was holding its gun; damned thing dropped its own gun and broke the gun. Does anything suck more than breaking a $150 toy within 12-hours of opening the box?
   
4. Realized that these aren’t playable toys and resigned myself to enjoying the pics online but not buying any more. Way, way too expensive a piece if I can’t even play with it.
