Spotted Online – Transformers Sky Shadow at ToysRUs
Looks like it’s time for me to get out there and start searching the ToysRUs stores around Dallas; maybe I’ll get lucky and find Sky Shadow, the Transformers Generations Thunderwing (review here) retool because as reported at Seibertron this new toy is now in stores.
The Junkion doesn’t interest me, but Sky Shadow is a Decepticon jet and based on a neat mold so there’s no way I’m skipping this one. And since he’s coming out toward the end of the Generations line — does anyone know if Hasbro has announced toys past this wave? — that means he’ll either be in every discount store on the planet in a few months or he’ll be $5,000 on eBay. Well, maybe not that high, but you know what I mean.

These were the last officially announced generations TFs. So far we know of nothing coming up after these guys aside from Prime toys.
I’m hoping there will be more. A classics-like line usually follows a movie year.
But we’ve had a couple odd years for transformers, so who knows?
I am hoping they do some Classics while the Prime line is going on. Some more classics would be nice even if they are some more repaints.
I prefer the Junkion over the jet, since i’m a – out of no reason – a motorcycle Transformer fan i was pretty happy getting this one at Matt’s TJ Maxx for 7$! Yaay.
Just need the Sky Shadow. Ebay prices are currently scalper sized averaging 40 USD minus shipping in the US or they 2-pack him with Junkheap. Forget the Junkion.
