Joel-Peter Witkin’s “The Bone House” On Sale

Back in June of this year I posted a batch of older images I had created that were inspired by Dave McKean’s two spectacular photography books A Small Book of Black & White Lies* and Option: Click* (images posted here). Well, there’s one more book that had a direct influence on those older photo manipulations — The Bone House by Joel-Peter Witkin — and it’s now on sale at Twin Palms.

Obviously my work is nowhere near the quality or level of skill of McKean or Witkin’s photography work, but I think I did okay for using stock images, found objects, and whatever else I had at hand. But that doesn’t really matter as long as all three of these remarkable photography books remain in my collection.
