2012 Sponsors Wanted for battlegrip.com

With 2011 ending it’s time to pay for the 2012 hosting for the site. Last year, reader donations kept battlegrip.com up and running, but this year I want to try something a little different and see if we can get a couple of sponsors. With that in mind I’ve created the following sponsorship options.

Review Sponsor

For $120 you’ll get a 430 pixel wide by 150 pixel tall banner ad of your own design at the end of every single toy and statue review posted at battlegrip.com in 2012. There is only one slot for review sponsorship and once someone buys it the slot is closed until next year. Click the button, below, to sponsor toy and statue reviews here at battlegrip.com in 2012.

No Longer Available.

Reviews get the most traffic here at the site, with even reviews from 2009 still generating thousands of hits each year. And your sponsorship of reviews in 2012 will leave your banner there for as long as your site remains functional — I reserve the right to take down old banners after 2012 if the link is dead. But as long as the link keeps working I’ll leave the banner in place.

Reading Sponsor

Similar to the review sponsorship option — same banner size, same rules for banner placement and length of time the banner will remain on the site — except that this is specifically targeted at the various “Reading” posts that I write for battlegrip.com. These are basically book reviews, and they do not get as much traffic as toy and statue reviews — and there are fewer of these posted each year — so sponsoring “Reading” posts is only $40 for 2012.

General Sponsor

The last level of sponsorship option here at battlegrip.com costs $60 for the year and gets you a button in the outer sidebar above the “Recent Review” buttons. There are three slots available, and a button of your design — 215 pixels by 215 pixels — will be placed above the “Recent Reviews” buttons in the order of sponsorship (first sponsor gets top spot, second is second, and third is the last spot). These buttons remain on the site for all of 2012; on January 1, 2013 these buttons will be removed from the site.

And that’s it. I hope that some of you who read the site on a regular basis will let your favorite online toy stores and/or manufacturers know that battlegrip.com is looking for sponsors for 2012. And if you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me.
