Glyos System Block Fighter Recolor
What’s one benefit of the digital illustration process that I use? Well, as long as I save the layered file it’s easy to take an existing image and change it. For example, here we have the first Glyos System Block Fighter illustration that I posted over the weekend with two changes:
- I flipped and slightly rotated the art.
- I changed the colors.
All of this took moments, much faster than the original illustration took, and it still gives the ship a different look.
Today’s the day for the new Glyos System launch. Check the Glyos Transmission Web Log tonight at 9 pm eastern and be ready for the new toys. I know I’m all set to snag myself enough parts to try and construct a Glyos System Block Fighter for my own collection.

9pm eastern = 3am for me here in spain. I guess I’m not going to get any blocks. or rigs. 🙁 again…
@Big R – I have a suggestion that may work. Post to the forum at October Toys and explain the issue. I bet someone there will work with you to help secure toys. The Glyos fans there really do try to help each other out.
Ooh, I like that color scheme, Constructicon inspired?
@Black Zarak – It’s G1 Banzai-Tron colors.
HAH! I knew that colorway looked familiar!! I’m a big fan of the old Gen 1 Action Masters, Banzai-Tron is one of the few I don’t have from that sub-line.
I’m trying to think of another cool block-fighter colorway based off of a transformer…Gah there’s too many to decide.
Another excellent colorway Phil. Hmmm….I wonder if an action master could fit inside a block?… I’m going to have to try this when I get one.
Gahh, I knew that. I was staring at thinking “I know I know these colors…”
