Transformers Bot Shots
I have to say that my favorite new product idea for Transformers has to be the Bot Shots toys. Tiny auto-transforming toys with a built-in rock-paper-scissors game mechanic.
Dial your selection, change the robot to car mode, and then run it against another one of the toys. The “winner” transforms! I got to see a quick sample of how they work and Hasbro gave everyone an Optimus Prime.
There will be “chase” toys in the line, but I asked and the toys are not blind-packed. It’s just that some designs will be tougher to find than others.
Overall I have to say that these look like a lot of fun. Great idea, Hasbro!

@bubbashelby – With any luck I’ll have time tonight to properly photograph and review the one sample they gave us at the event. They sure look cute.
I have no interest in these little guys really, but if I saw some of those translucent chase figures in stores, my hands would be making instinctive snatching motions in their direction regardless. “Translucent plastic! OUT OF MY WAY!”
