Hulk Avengers Action Figure is Pure Ugly
Writing this makes me sad. Yesterday I spotted the new Marvel Avengers Hulk action figure at Target and grabbed it, fully expecting to buy a new Hulk to display with my other 3.75-inch scale hulks — Marvel Universe Red Hulk (review here), Green Hulk (review here), Grey Hulk (review here), Marvel Universe Skaar (review here), and Marvel Universe World War Hulk (review here) — but as soon as I glanced at the pack in my hands I shrieked in disgust.
This is one horrible action figure and a major disappointment. Ug-ly! Don’t believe me? Take a look at the pics. I guess I saved $10.
Yeah, totally unattractive. Not to mention poorly articulated, especially for the price! I did pick up a movie Loki because it was the first one with the cool helmet, but I’m really bummed about the ridiculous prices.
There are also some horribly gimmicky knee-squeeze HULK SMASH figures, complete with nutcracker-style mouth.
And to think they could’ve devoted all that time, effort and plastic to making more Renegades Storm Shadows!
I didn’t like any of them. And there’s no Black Widow yet.
We don’t seem to be the target market for the Avengers toyline at all. Of course I’m having a hard time finding Marvel Legends, and the new MU stuff, so it’s kind of a wash.
@Seth – the new MU line isn’t much better, to be honest. I picked-up Storm and Psylocke on Monday, was walking to the register and – as I was looking at them in more detail – realized what terrible figures they were, so I put them back.
