Sea-Borgs Resin Toys at MonsterPants
Huge thanks to this post at toybot studios for pointing me at the new Sea-Borgs resin toys. Crafted and produced by MonsterPants (website, Twitter) I’ve gotta say that there’s something about these toys that really captures my imagination. I suspect it’s the colors and those wicked weapon hands.
Once the sole inhabitants of a planet covered entirely in water, the beings that would become known as the Sea-Borgs were an advanced and peaceful race. Then one day an army of Invaders attacked their world, stripping it of its valuable natural resources and nearly wiping out the worlds’ undersea civilizations. The survivors from the various kingdoms banded together, rebuilding their ruined bodies with cybernetic weaponry and armor in order to combat the alien attackers who continue to exploit and pollute their world.
The Sea-Borgs are available now at the MonsterPants webstore for $20/each or $50 the set of three. Awesome stuff.

$22 & some change shipped? Surprised these guys are so cheap. Went ahead and picked up the leader just because I love the Star Wars meets Adventure People vibe these things give off. Probably going to regret not picking up the 3 pack.
