Review – Transformers Throttlebot Wideload

A few months ago we took a quick look at the 1987 Transformers Throttlebot Rollbar (review here), one of the series of toys that replaced the Autobot minicars. Rollbar is so general and near-identical to the other toys in the entire Throttlebots line that it’s tough to say anything truly new or exciting about Wideload . . . so I won’t even try! That’s right, folks. This time around it’s all about the pics.

Philip Reed rarely posts “reviews” that are all photos, but between Wideload being so much like Rollbar AND Philip prepping for San Diego Comic Con he’s cheating and just sharing pics.

  1. Just wanted to comment and say that I’m really enjoying the look back at these guys. 🙂

  2. @Iron Panda – Thanks. That’s the end of my two Throttlebots. I do have some other older Transformers toys, though, and they’ll be slowly finding their way onto the site.
