Batman “Dungeons & Dragons”

DC has announced more creators for their digital Batman comic, Legends of the Dark Knight, and one title really jumped out and grabbed me: Dungeons & Dragons by Mike Oeming

Weird. I’m betting this doesn’t really have anything to do with the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game — IDW’s Dungeons & Dragon comics (Amazon.com search*) have been neat — but I do now wonder if Oeming has something roleplaying game-related planned for his story. I really should give this series a shot. But if DC is going to collect these then I’d rather wait for a trade paperback than buy digital comics. I know, I’m weird.

Oh. And the artwork they posted by Christopher Mitten is pretty cool. I’m completely unfamiliar with Mitten’s work so now I have an artist to research.
