Night Statue Leonardo

So far I’ve reviewed two of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures (Leonardo review here, Raphael review here) and both are excellent toys. Great sculpts, playable plastic, and plenty of articulation to make them fun have left me quite impressed with Playmates’ work on the line.

But — and you knew this was coming — there’s one choice that Playmates made that leaves us all a bit confused. Their Night Shadow Leonardo (mentioned here) is a statue and not an action figure; it looks like it has joints but it doesn’t. The review at Infinite Hollywood can tell you more (my review is now online), but as I took a close look at the toy I found myself itching to put together a simple comic.

(There’s no reality here and I’m just teasing collectors; after all, I own the statue so I’m as guilty as anyone else who bought this toy. This is all meant in good fun.)
