Spotted Online – FansProject Steel Core Review at CollectionDX
FansProject (website, Twitter) has a lot of fans in the Transformers toyverse and I recently missed one of their releases that looks to me like their best toy to date: Steel Core. A not-Powermaster transforming robot toy that looks like it’s pretty tough and has a not-too-complicated transformation sequence? I’m sold . . . if I could get one. These vanished fast and are very expensive on eBay. I’m hoping they re-release the toy soon.
Fortunately, there’s a review at CollectionDX with lots of photos that show us just what Steel Core is capable of. From what I can see in the pics, and the written review, this is exactly the sort of toy I would enjoy. Nice design!

Can’t see them releasing it in this colour scheme, since it was meant to be for FansProjectCore members, and that would ignite forums more than their distribution of the toy has.
It IS a lovely toy, though (I was lucky enough to grab one). There are plans for more cores, so hopefully they’ll offer repaints or remoulds of this guy to go with them. It’s a line I would be happy to see expanded, like FansProject are with the Causality line.
