The Halo Commander Carter A259 Showcase Action Figure* from 3A is now up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth and photos of the toy look quite cool. Not cool enough for me to go after one, but any Halo fans out there willing to take a chance on a $220 action figure are likely already aware of this toy. Me? I’m just waiting to see how the quality is and hoping that someone posts a bunch of pics online when the toy comes out.
Excellent 1:6 scale action figure from the Halo series! Commander Carter-A259 was a SPARTAN-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command, attached to Special Warfare Group Three. Carter was the leader of Noble Team, an elite team of Spartans who fought during the Fall of Reach. His call sign in the team was Noble One. This Halo Commander Carter A259 Showcase Action Figure features the Commander looking just like he did in the game, but at 13 1/2-inches tall. Special features for this figure include fiber-optic illuminating helmet and combat armor, magnetized shoulder shields and rear pouch that all of Commander Carter’s weapons can be attached to, a rubberized suit over a fully articulated body with complete outer armor attachments, and fully articulated fingers! Plus, the figure comes with his M392 DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), two of the M9 HE-DP APG Frag Grenades, and a combat knife with sheath.
