Official Bruticus and Unofficial Blast Off and Swindle Pre-Orders at Big Bad Toy Store
Transformers fans who missed out on the FansProject upgrades to Hasbro’s official Bruticus can now pre-order both sides of the puzzle in a new color scheme. Big Bad Toy Store is offering both the Bruticus Maximus Asia Exclusive Reissue and the Crossfire 02 – New Color – Set of Explorer & Munitioner for pre-order, with delivery expected this month (Bruticus) and in January (Crossfire).
I’ve never had a close look at the official Bruticus, but I have reviewed the retooled/recolored unofficial Blast Off and Swindle toys. My FansProject Warcry (review here) and FansProject Flameblast (review here) have been around the house long enough that I can say both are decent enough transforming robot toys . . . but they’re not so amazing that I’m suggesting everyone rush out and grab these re-released versions.
