Reading – Transformers Identification and Price Guide

Search for Transformers toys at Past Generation Toys!

The Transformers Identification and Price Guide is a fun book, even if it is plagued by some bad photography. Too many times throughout the book the photos are just a little too blurry for my tastes. Over 250-pages long, and covering all of the Generation One toys, this book’s packed with tech specs info, commentary on many of the toys, and several photos. (Blurry, but I already said that.)

This is one of those books I refer to frequently when looking at older Transformers toys since it’s as complete as I could hope for. From mail order pieces to in-store pieces, I think this book covers every toy from the line’s original run.

  1. A second edition is coming with better photography. Also, the second edition of the G.I. Joe Identification Guide is out right now and it’s very nice.
