Spotted Online – FansProject Assaulter Reviewed at the Daytime Ninja

My own unofficial Transformers Broadside Triple Changer arrived a couple of days ago, but so far all I have done is held the box and marveled at how heavy the toy feels. When FansProject said that Assaulter included diecast metal parts they weren’t kidding; this guy weighs a ton!

Visit the Daytime Ninja!

And while my own Assaulter may still be in the box you can get a look at the toy in this review at the Daytime Ninja. Both robot modes look cool, the jet mode is great, but that SDF-1-inspired carrier mode is pretty damned weak.

Now to get my hands on Steel Core . . .

  1. Don’t be too quick to judge, Phil! That carrier mode is surprisingly interesting, more so when you read the included comic. I actually don’t care much for his jet mode. It seems to me like the back portion was blown off and we ended up with half an airplane.

But you’re not kidding about the weight, he’s a monster!
