Kickstarter – Lost Legends Card-Drafting Game
The Lost Legends project on Kickstarter is closing in on the final days and has climbed past its goal and unlocked a couple of stretch goals. The gameplay is described in the project video and it looks to me like it will be a fun fantasy combat game. I always love games where cards serve more than one purpose and the ability to use equipment cards as items or skills strikes me as a nice idea. And, equally importantly to games these days, the art looks gorgeous.
In Lost Legends, by Mike Elliott, 3 to 5 players are mighty warriors, developing their strengths in order to battle increasingly ferocious monsters as they quest deeper into danger.
Each player’s board keeps track of all their warrior’s information: weapons, equipment, vitals, experience… their legend points, skills, and their kill trophies and trophy awards. Each warrior is unique, and starts with varying vital levels and hero points.
