Tuesday Tunes – Guns and Stones Covers

While on the cruise earlier this month one of the more relaxing places to sit and write, read, or whatever was the dining area above the buffet on the ship, a quiet area where not many ever traveled. And part of what made it such a great place was the music was usually jazz/lounge tunes with a bit of a twist. And it was one morning when a fairly remarkable cover of Guns and Roses’ “November Rain” started playing . . . and now I know that cover was recorded by Anakelly.

A bit of searching online didn’t uncover much about the artist except for another excellent cover, “Under My Thumb,” the Rolling Stones song that has been covered so many times before (the Ministry version is a lot of fun). So today I share with you two covers recorded by Anakelly. And now I try to track down more information — and a CD! — about Anakelly.
