It was the mention of “mini-rigs” that got me to stop and take a closer look at the Star Wars 2013 Class I Fleet Vehicles Wave 1* that’s up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth. Scanning through the description and looking at the photos I think the Clone Dropship is my favorite design . . . but that MTT Droid Fighter is a close second! The designers at the Kenner of the eighties must be proud to see “mini-rigs” still in service today.

These are looking pretty sharp! I’ve been kind of bleh on Star Wars vehicles lately. They’ve either been rehashes of older vehicles, unimpressive, or amazingly done, but humongous. These look pretty cool and are in a much more manageable price range. I’ll take it!

@Paul – I can’t explain why I haven’t been scooping up Star Wars action figures. Maybe the sameness of the design after so many hundreds of releases has made me jaded. But every now and then something like this hits and gets me excited.
