Paper fans, the Mirth & Co. Notebooks project at Kickstarter was designed for you. An Austin-based company, the two guys behind the project are planning to create a line of hand-sewn notebooks and the project video is quite nice and looks like something they had fun putting together. I know we can get blank notebooks anywhere, but it’s always fun to support something new so if you’re an office supply lover then take a peek at the project.
Mirth & Co. is a small company started by bookbinder, John Bell, and designer, Shaun Fox. Mirth & Co.’s purpose is to provide products to help people engage with the finer things in life, like the ideas we conceive, the people we love, and the places we inhabit. We have chosen to start with a product that is sacred to all dreamers: the notebook. There are lots of notebooks in the world, but we feel like there is a lack of notebooks that do justice to the things held in their pages.
