Spotted Online – Lego Legends of Chima Crawley’s Claw Ripper Review at That Figures
My only problem with the new Lego: Legends of Chima series is the exact same problem I have with every single Lego set in stores: Where would I put these toys if I started collecting them? Gina has several Lego sets she has built over the years, and even today with struggle with the best way to display the toys.
Today I’m directing you to the Crawley’s Claw Ripper review at That Figures. Part of the new Legends of Chima line, the first thing I thought when I saw these in stores was: “Hey, Lego has jumped into the Battle Beasts arms race!”

Thanks for featuring that!
I didn’t see the Battle Beasts influence myself (probably as it’s not a line I’m that familiar with and never had as a kid) but you’re the second person to note that and I can totally see it now.
And yes, my growing Lego collection is currently in need of somewhere to display it. I keep threatening to turn our spare room into a Lego village. Although given how few house/building kits Lego actually make now, that might be even harder than persuading Mrs Iok to agree… 🙂
I currently have 2 of these sets and love the 80s nostalgia feel to them.
Yeah, they’re really very cool although my current Lego ”thing” is the Galaxy Squad. There’s a very Micronauts-ish vibe to them that I really like – plus they’re great toys in their own right.
Been trying to make room in my office cube for these myself! Looking forward to picking up some Chima sets and some (more) Galaxy Squad sets.
SO COOL!
I have the Galaxy Squad Vermin Vaporizer sitting on a shelf beside me as we speak, ready for Review. I can’t wait to start photographing it!
