Spotted Online – Kenner’s Six Million Dollar Man Toys at The Fwoosh
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. After writing about the 1976 Gabriel Lone Ranger toys (posted here) and Hasbro’s 1977 Super Joe action figures (posted here) I had thought it would be fun to write about Kenner’s 1975 Six Million Dollar Man. So I started reading, assembling links, thinking through what I wanted to say . . . but what I didn’t do was finish writing and posting my thoughts before The Fwoosh launched Part One of two parts about the Six Million Dollar Man toys.
Okay, so I will get my own post up but for now I want to wait for Part Two and I suggest that you read Part One at The Fwoosh. The Six Million Dollar Man action figures and TV series was just a little too early in my childhood for me to remember all that much — after all I was three in 1975 — but everything I’ve seen and read about the line over the years makes me certain that I would have wanted some of the toys if I had been a few years older.
