Spotted Online – Unofficial Transformers Breakdown Review at Kuma Style Designs

FansProject has started their unofficial Transformers Stunticons line, and TJ has posted a video and photo review of not-Breadown (see the TFWiki) at his site. And even though TJ mentions the toy is tiny it looks fantastic and has me wondering if I wait for all five not-Stunticons to be released or start buying them one at a time.

  1. Not as big as i was hoping but comparison wise im pretty happy with it.

Personally gonna wait to see Motomaster and if they release a complete set.

  2. I have these preordered already (I figure it won’t sting as much if I pay for them individually as opposed to in one rather large purchase). I think the poseability is incredible, and even though they are a bit on the small side, I like that. There’s more of a chance that they’ll fit on my shelf as Menasor. The Motormaster/Menasor prototype pics look pretty awesome, so I’m very happy with my decision so far.

  3. Wow, the size is really breaking the deal for me. While he looks fantastic, he’s not $60 plus shipping fantastic. I could tolerate it within a $45-50 price range, but at this rate the appendages are going to cost over $250 after shipping.

I’m not going to say “never” because seeing the finished Motormaster and Menasor may influence my decision a lot, but right now I can’t commit to these.

  4. Just to note, photos of a combined mode were leaked. I’d really recommend taking a look at those before any purchases, since the legs are clearly motormaster bits with cars just placed on and you may not be a fan of that.

Personally, I’m keeping my preorders though; since I’m really impressed by how much of Menasor is from motormaster, and presumably is all stored in him in vehicle mode.
