Hasbro has really come a long way with their Kre-O sets since the first releases, and it looks like their Star Trek Kre-O series is going to be even better than their G.I. Joe series. And with the new Star Trek movie coming next month, the Star Trek Kre-O sets — like this Star Trek Kre-O Star Trek Transporter Trouble Set* — are getting out there. I’ve not seen these in stores, but it feels like I’ll stumble across these any day now . . . but will I be able to resist them?

Okay, not trying to harsh the buzz about this, but I’m kinda’ bummed that these aren’t LEGO instead of Kreo. I do agree though, better than the GI Joe series (which was also better than the Battleship series!).
On a another note, where are all the Star Trek toys? I think Playmates did the last one, yes? I picked up the Enterprise and a phaser, but the figs didn’t interest me too much. Sad that it looks like there’s really nothing out there this time for standard action figures. I thought Hasbro had the license for that too (not just to do Kreo sets) but not sure.
