Spotted Online – Mystical Warriors of the Ring

The new Mystical Warriors of the Ring series (website) was released at C2E2 this last weekend, and Little Weirdos has something of a review to give us all a better look at these new single-piece resin toys. Goliath — the larger of the two toys shown — is clearly the better of the two designs, but both look neat and the official release page shows even more designs that are planned.

The figures themselves are very, very cool. Goliath in particular is a gorgeous, eye-catching sculpt. He’s a real brute (Ulric looks somewhat diminutive in comparison–it’s hard to think he’d stand a chance in the ring). I can see people getting into the line based on this figure alone. Ulric is very nicely done too, but a hulk of a character like Goliath is naturally going to steal the spotlight.
