Reading – World War Robot 2

I told you a second volume was coming, and now it’s out there and ready for your greedy hands. I’m only letting you know that this is available now because I managed to pick up my copy last weekend while I was in Ann Arbor.

World War Robot Volume 2 picks up where the first volume left off, with very little in the way of text and a hell of a lot in the way of Ashley Wood artwork. His World War Robot work may be some of Wood’s best work so far; you can really tell that he’s enjoying the subject.

This is a great sequel to the original book that was released last year, and one that fine art and robot fans should take a look at. And there are even some great Bramble paintings in the book (for a look at the toy check out my Bramble review from a few months ago).

I can’t wait for the next volume in this series. But will we get volume three before we see the movie? Jerry Bruckheimer has the rights so there’s no telling what the movie is gonna be like.
